New Public Safety Memorial |
Lodge 9 is working with the Public Safety Alliance (comprised of Chesapeake
Police Officers, Sheriffs, and Firefighters) on a project to create a new memorial
for Chesapeake's Fallen Heroes. The City Council has provided a nice section of
land near the City's Circuit Court building for the memorial. Several fund raisers
are in the works and a special account for donations has been set up at the Bank
of Hampton Roads.
