Welcome to the Lodge 9 web site! We are located on the East Coast, approximately 12 miles from the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Our membership is nearly 400 law enforcement officers from Chesapeake and surrounding communities. While the majority of our members are sworn Chesapeake law enforcement officers from the police department and sheriff's office, we also are proud to have state game wardens, state troopers, state probation and parole officers, and other sworn personnel from other jurisdictions as members of our lodge. |

1915, the National Lodge now has more than 324,000 members in more than 2,100 lodges. The Fraternal Order
of Police is committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and to the safety of those
